Felix Rosenqvist won the 110th Indianapolis 500 on 24 May 2026 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He overtook David Malukas on the final lap to finish 0.023 seconds ahead. The margin marked the closest finish in the race’s history.

The race featured multiple caution periods, including a red flag with seven laps remaining after Caio Collet crashed and his car caught fire. Drivers received only water and new batteries during the stoppage. When racing resumed with four laps left, Marcus Armstrong briefly led before another caution set up a single-lap sprint to the finish.

Scott McLaughlin placed third and Pato O’Ward fourth. The result gave Meyer Shank Racing its second Indianapolis 500 victory. Rosenqvist is a Swedish driver competing for the team in the NTT IndyCar Series.

The win improves Rosenqvist’s standing in the championship and provides the team with additional points toward the season title. The next race on the IndyCar calendar follows within two weeks.
